Professional
Development - The Professional Development
component supports teachers' professional
development. The main focus of the project is to
develop the skills of teachers to use formative
and summative assessments to improve student
achievement. Since successful application of
formative and summative assessments require a deep
knowledge of the science content students are
expected to learn, the project also focuses on
strengthening the quality of science teaching by
increasing teachers' science content knowledge.
The Director of this project is Dr. Audrey
Champagne.
